what are the rules and equipment needed?

The althlete must hold the shotput near their neak and throw (requires a shotput.) They also cannot step out of the circle they are standing in or other wise they can be auto disqualification. An althlet is not allowed to throw the ball past the right or left line

NZs history in shotput

Yvette Winifred Corlett was a new zealand medal winner she was born in dunedin. Her first national title was given to her in 1947. She always really injoyed fittness alot she won ther first long jump title in 1948. She was one of our greatest ever athletes
